This update was rereleased to address a problem in which the previous version of the update cannot be installed if Access Runtime 2003 is installed, and the update is not installed in quiet mode. If the previous version of the update is installed in quiet mode, the update is installed successfully. However, future updates may not install successfully.
If you experience either of these problems, you should install the rereleased update. If you do not use Access Runtime 2003 or if you successfully installed the previous version of this update, and you do not experienced problems installing later updates, you do not have to install the rereleased update.
I have exact same problem as FrankFarina. I actually have Office 2007 SP2 installed but Microsoft Updates keeps including KB947319 in list of availabale updates - even though I apparently dont need it. However, I keep selecting to install it, and it actually states that it has been successfuly installed. However, within a couple of minutes it will again tell me its avaialble to install. I just cant get rid of this one and it's driving me crazy"
You said: "click the icon, then choose "custom", then uncheck the tickbox by the update, close the window, confirm you don't want the update again".
What do you mean by the "icon". If I click the icon in taskbar which says "New updates are available to install" (I can only click it by the way - right-clicking on that icon has no effect) it just opens the Windows Update window listing available updates available to install. There's no further icons, only a checkbox next to that update. If I uncheck the checkbox next to it, it just offers me that update in the list in future. I cannot see any "custom" option as you've described anywhere. Can you please clarify how/where I can find this option as I'm desparate to stop this update from repeatedly being offered to me!
You are correct - I should have stated that I have Vista. That has worked - thanks heaps. Dunno why I didn't spot the "hide" option before as I usually always try right-clicking on things to see if there are other options!

Any assistance is appreciated, FF

click the icon, then choose "custom", then uncheck the tickbox by the update, close the window, confirm you don't want the update again.

That is for XP, I assume you have Vista or W7?
When the update window opens listing the Updates, right click on the update and select "hide".
