send picture via e-mail

Hi All,
Every time I send pictures as attachment via e-mail, a window always popped up allowing me to change the pictrure prior to sending (currently I have Windows XP).  One thing I noticed that this option was no longer available after I tried to install the software that comes with Dazzle Hi-speed USB 2.0.  I have already uninstalled this software and I still couldn't get this window to pop up?  Could it be reset? I also have a Dell Optiplex GX1 and I need to buy a CD-RW.  Do you know which one should I buy for this model? internal or external? low price?
Please help,
no-hope

no-hope,

If you are referring to the prompt which allowed you to resize images prior to sending them, you should be able to restore this capability by going to Start|Run, entering REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL and clicking OK. (There is a space before SHIMGVS.)

Denny,

You are genius.  I followed your instruction and it worked.

Would you by any chance recommend a cd-rw for my old Dell Optiplex GX1?  I just have a four-month-old princess and I take a lot picture of hers.  The problem is I can only load "so much" and my computer is taking a sweet time to...

Thanks a lot,

no-hope,

You are more likely to get knowledgeable suggestions from people in this conference. Internal drives are less expensive that external ones and in looking over the drives that Dell offers for the GX1 it appears that you can do better price-wise elsewhere.

Denny,
I will do as you have suggested.
Thanks,
