Sending e-mail

I am using Outlook Express 6 on a computer using EXP  Professional. Since the 8th of November, I have not been able to send e-mail. I still receive mail. It makes no difference if I type the address or use my address book. It also does not make any difference what mail client I use. Is there someone out there who can help solve this problem? Thank you.
