DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO SETUP THE COMPUTER LOCK WITH A PASSEORD SO THAT ANYONE WHO POWERS ON THE COMPUTER MUST ENTER A PASSWORD INORDER TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE DESKTOP SCREEN?

hello,   if youre using windows XP just go to start >>> control panel >>> user accounts.   from there its self explanatory on how to create a password   bye

It does not effect power-up. Only used to enter Windows Desktop. For power-up password, this is set from within your BIOS. This way when power is first turned on, you will need a password to proceed to bootup in Windows.
