Setting Up The Desktop Question

Hello All, Concerning my XP Home SP1 desktop computer:   What I want to do is configure my computer so that I have two different desktops.  One where I will have full access to and the other very limited access to such as certain folders and all computer settings.   How do I do this...........Thanks

You would just set up 2 User Accounts in Control Panel 1.  This one with Administrator rights.   Full access to all folders and settings. 2.  This one a Limited Account.  Unable to make any system changes Is that what you mean?

Yes, but the limited account would also have limited access to various folders etc.

I think the only other thing you can do is to make individual folders private so that only you can open them. Right click a folder/Sharing (or properties) and put a check at 'Make the folder private'
