Shell Icon Hidden Window

Is that the actual error message ?

Did he have you install a chipset driver ?

What model do you have ?

A little more history may help.

Hi sorry , Yes he had me in stall a chip set .

It is a box , at top it says End Program Shell Icon Hidden Window.

I have a Din. 2400 Window XP Pentium 4 CPU 2.66Hz

2.66GHz, 384 MB RAM.

Uninstall Music Match, reboot and see if you still get the error message. You can get the latest version if you really have to have it.

Hi. Thanks for getting back to me. I removed musicmatch and the problem went away. But when I reinstalled it, it came right back. Did I misunderstand you? Did you reinstall musicmatch and no longer get the shell icon message? Or did you just leave it off of your PC when done?

I had a similar problem, in that my computer would hang during shutdown with a Shell Icon Hidden Window notification window on the desktop.  I had to check the End Now option.  I removed MusicMatch JukeBox and reinstalled the latest version available from MM's website.  The latest version has a small letter 'b' at the end of its Version Number.  Now on shutdown, the Shell Icon Hidden Window notification box appears briefly during the shutdown sequence, but no longer hangs the computer.
