SHLWAPI.dll. error after xp2 update
Hi
Error message: "Explorer.EXE - Entry Point Not Found - The procedure entry point SHCreateThreadRef could not be located in the dynamic link library SHLWAPI.dll."
this is the error message that i get.
I have just installed XP2 and have restarted my computer and now iam getting this message.
Any help on this will be much appreciated.
Sould i run a Repair on my system? or is there any other way we can get over this?

Here is a fix that supposedly worked for those that replied:

It entails uninstalling SP2 and reinstalling it along with removing a hot fix first. See the post by J.5.
