slow keyboard...making me crazy!!

I have a slow keyboard response no matter what keyboard or USB port I use. I have tried going to control panel and so on to change it but it's still slow responding. I uninstalled then installed again and it still don't work. Can anyone PLEASE help me????

That is pretty unusual but without knowing which computer model and other details it is hard to give any advice.  Include:  Model number, if this just recently happened, have you scanned for virus/spyware/malware, have you tried running a system restore point to a recent date when all was well?

You could try turning off the Instant Office module.

 

Another solution would be to prevent PCMService.exe from

starting when the system boots. This is likely the best

solution, as you will not lose Instant Office functionality. It's likely that the slow typing is because that software is no longer there. To disable

PCMService: Start -> Run -> msconfig -> Startup -> untick

PCMService -> OK.

 

If this does not help go to Control Panel -> Accessibility Options -> Keyboard Tab and untick all boxes -> OK

 

I think this was discussed on this forum earlier, however I am unable to find it.

 

Hope one of these solutions may help.
