Software issue with windows 8.1 all software programs load up in small interface?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone else has come across this problem, and knows how to fix it? I have a brand new Dell inspiron 15, 7000 series laptop, I'm very happy with the machine, I only have one major issue? when I load up new or existing programs, the loading interface seems to appear smaller than expected? to the point where it's virtually unreadable. I have also recently installed photoshop cs6 onto my laptop, but the same problem keeps recurring? I am running a 4k resolution 3840x2160, whenever I want to get into Photoshop to use it? I usually drop the resolution to standard HD 1980x1080 this seems to help a little, but font is still a little on the small side. I'd be grateful if someone was willing to help me, with a solution to this problem.

The font is small because your 4k screen has 4x pixels and the laptop delivers pixels to the screen. You will need to set the text and icon sizes larger so you can read them. 4k TVs can adjust the pixel size to fill the screen, resulting in better definition. Computer can 't. There are lots of problems with 4k monitors right now. You can only take real advantage of 4k by using a very large monitor (4x!!!).
