to remove MS edge, try powershell
type get-appxpackage *edge*
this gives you the detail location of your Microsoft Edge.
Type remove-appxpackage in the Powershell window. Hit the Space button on your keyboard. Then copy the address next to the item PackageFullName and paste it after the command you just typed in.
to remove Mcfee follow standard app uninstall procedure

Additional info, I'm able and willing to edit the registry if needed and/or necessary
