Software removal on Dimension E510 -XP

Question

I need to remove the HP deskjet k80xi installation software from my Dimension E510 and try again. I have gone to the ADD or REMOVE PROGRAMS Utility in Windows XP and tried removing the installation software BUT it comes back with a 'DEVICE MANAGER ERROR' and it does not remove it. Is there a back door way of achieving removal of  this install so I could try again?   Any help is appreciated:smileyindifferent:

my computer - c: - program files   Look for it their and see if there is a uninstall.exe of some sort in the folder if your find one
