Software utilities

Hi:

If my system is working fine, is there a need to purchase additional clean-up removal programs?  There is a program out there called Advanced System Optimizer.

What does everyone think?  I have Noton Internet Security, have free spyware removal & regularly use the tools that XP provides.  However, what about the registry?  Members on the board have mixed opinions whether you need one or not.

Sincerely,

John

Classic case of If It Ain't Broke Don't Fix It.

I have not used any of the software utilities in several years, but my experience in the past was that most cause more problems than they fix.
