Some Start menu items can't be displayed??
I keep getting an error message box on my desktop. It reads: "Some Start menu items can't be displayed. There is not enough room to show all the items that you have added to the Start menu. To display all items, try a higher screen resolution."
I have removed many items from the Start menu. My screen resolution is also as high as it can go. I also made my desktop icons smaller. None of this has helped get rid of this error message, though.
I am using Vista 64 on a Studio One 19. The computer is fine otherwise--this one thing is a little annoying though.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

MomSpooner,
Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Right click on the Start Orb, select Properties, Start Menu tab, Customize
button, adjust the value down in the Start menu size, Number of recent programs
to display box.
What is your screen resolution set to?

Hello,
In the "Start menu size" box, I see "Number of recent programs to display: " There is a box after the word "display" where you can click up or down a number--This number-clicking box (sorry, I'm sure there's a better name for it) is grayed out, however, and I can't change the number. The number that appears in it at present is zero.
Screen resolution is set to 1366 by 768 pixels. Colors are on "Highest (32 bit)"

MomSpooner,
Click on the customize and try removing the "Default programs" items to see if that will help.

Hi Jesse,
Just want you to know--I haven't seen the "reminder" for about two days. I believe the problem is solved.
Thank you for your help.
