Sonic CinePlayer Won't Register

Question

My new Dimension B110 just arrived and it came with Sonic CinePlayer to show DVDs. When I try to play a DVD a dialog appears stating it is trying to register the software with Roxio. I assume it goes to the Internet for this and after about 30 seconds the message 'Unsuccessful. Try again later' appears. You can not play a DVD until the CinePlayer software registers. I have been trying this for 2 days with no success. I am definitely connected to the Internet and have rebooted more than once. Don't know who to contact at Dell. I'm not calling paid (software) support for what I see as a Dell problem. Can anyone help here?

Oddly enough I have the same problem.  I put up a post earlier.  If you get a good answer from Dell other than paying software support, please be sure to post it!
