Sonic Roxio Runtime error..

Question

Everytime I close Dell's Roxio by Sonic software I get 'Mediahub.EXE Application error..' 'The instruction at 0x12963a4d. Ther memory could not be written> Message when I click OK I get another Mediahub.exe Application Error saying 'the instruction at 0x00401814 referenced memory at 0x00fe0010. Ther memory could not be 'read' and when I click OK there it gives me yet another error message 'Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.. Runtime Error! Program: ommon Files\Sonic Shred\Sonic Central\Main\Mediahub.exe R6025-pure virtual function call... I click OK and it goes away... Happens everytime I use Roxio and even when I try to register the program online.. it does burn cds ok and seems to run fine while in use but shutting down I always get these messages.... anyone have a clue??

Paul T,   According to what I've read on Roxio's forum, the problem is an incompatibility issue with Media Player 11.  See this:  http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?showtopic=14107&hl=Mediahub\.EXE+Application+error   Tony

Paul T,   Yes, as I mentionned in another post, Roxio and other software vendors are probably concentrating on debugging their applications with Vista.  They may be a little short on manpower available to solve problems with 'old' operating systems.  Hopefully, media-related fixes for Vista will apply to XP also   Tony

Thanks Tony, looks like the only cure is either uninstall Media player 11 or wait for Sonic or Dell to come out with a patch.. I would think since Media 11 is the media player with Vista a patch should soon me coming,,, yes?
