SP2 uninstall

Question

I want to uninstall SP2 but when I try I get an error message saying 'file cannot be found', then 'SP2 has not been uninstalled'.  It does not say which file cannot be found.  Can anyone help?    I have had nothing to trouble since installing it.  I currently cannot log in to Messenger, download any Windows updates or get into any kind of secure sites, I just get the screen saying 'The Page Cannot Be Displayed', any ideas at all?

I also have had nothing but problems with SP2 and certain programs would not work since downloading it :smileysad: So I decided to remove it and now those programs are still not working! Any advice?  Also since this all has been going on Norton has been 'misbehaving' and keeps telling me my definitions are out of date when they really are not!? I do the live updates everytime and yet it says out of date :smileymad:

Reinstalling the programs should solve the problem.

Thanks for your help.  Its sorted now but in the end the computer crashed and I had to reformat the hard drive and reinstall.  The computer is working well now, fingers crossed!
