Thank you for your response.  The error message did appear after I "safely" removed items from my spyware.  I am still confused.  My son uses iMesh.  Does he need newdotnet to successfully use iMesh?  Should I have removed this from my spyware?  (iMesh was mentioned in the website link in your reply)

Imesh is spyware also, I would suggest you remove it from your system and also install software like Adaware or Spybot.  Click the second link in my signature below for more details.  If your son insists on using file sharing program, try EDonkey, it does not contain spyware.  Kip
