Startup error message
Computer is a DIM 4500 desktop running Windows XP.
On startup I get the following error message:
During a scan of files at system startup, potential errors in the system registry were found.
p-07-0100 irql: 1f SYSVER 0xff00024
NT_Kernel error 1256
KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
I am NOT able to do a system restore farther back that 2 days and even when I do the system restore I get a message saying that no changes were made.
The computer seems to be quite unstable. How can I fix this problem?
