stop error 0x00000067 on Boot? cant even repair??

I was scanning and my i8600 told me that C:/pagefile.sys was corrupt, and needed to run chkdsk
well it cant obtain executive rights - needs to restart
i restart and it BSOD with stop error 0x00000067
(cant load registry into memory module)
Well i can run linux live fine on it, even loaded all 1gb of ram with MP3s and all ran ok
trying to repair install it finished copying files and then says that setup has some internal error and must quit
*how can i fix it?!*
anyone?!!

so i called MS since ppl here didnt help out,
fairly simple proccess if you have system restore enabled
take reg files from there -> copy to config in windows/system32/
(he said this was still something MS was working on, and only works on retail installs)
anyway - i just wanted to put this out there for other people with this sit.
again, only works if
A: drive is ok
b: have access to HD from elsewhere (usb hd case)
and
C: youve backed up everything and have nothing to loose
No Events found!
