Streets & Trips 2003 will not run

When setup CD is used get msg:"Not necessary to use setup disc., insert Run CD" When insert run CD nothing happens. I type in command on Run:E:\setup_ST.exe and dialogue box states: Cannot find E:\setup_ST.exe files or components.Have tried removing S&T from Settings (add & remove) and then reinserting startup CD and installing again., same result. Have reinstalled thru regular installation process. Same results. Search for exe file indicated it is in my computer. Suggestions appreciated......Woody

BTW  I am running Windows 98 SE

Check the FAQ#2 in the MS Works Suite Forum. Hope it helps.

Thanks Oldfield: I do not have Works Suite. I have ordinary two disc Street & Trips (setup and run),set. However I pretty much have tried all the installing, removing and reinstalling suggested. It will not run because it can't find Setup.exe file, Yet exe file in in my computer. Whether this is from a previious install, I don't know. I'll just keep on plugging and hope I can come up with something. Thanks a bunch.....Woody

If you have Streets and Trips installed, you do not have to run setup.exe again.  You put the run CD in the CD drive and then start the Streets and Trips from the program Icon (if you have it on the desktop) or from the Start/Programs.

The setup.exe is only to install the program and only needs to be run once.

Hi Fireberd: Thanks for responding. When I attempt to start from start /programs or from Icon I get hourglass for a second and it disappears and program does not start. I also tried : Start/run and typing:E:\msmap\data.msi.  with Run disc and prompt states: cannot find msmap\data.msi file. Strange!. Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks again for your interest..........Woody
