Stuck in Limited Virtual Memory Screen & Saving screen setting! HELP

Question

- Latitude C800, Windows 2000 PRO. BIOS 23 After log in- and type in my (password) I get a screen that says : 'Limited Virtual Memory'. However, 2 day ago- last time it lets me lin- I did change the Virtual Memory but after it does  let me click on the 'Apply' button. It didn't even get to highlighted either. Please advice. (I  do have  Administrative rights) 2- Saving Screen Setting: After clicking  the OK' button at the 'Limited Virtual Memory ' screen; the computer stuck 'Saving my setting'.(  Although I did do change at all) Then, it goes back to the log in screen and keeps doeing that for ever. Just a note. In order to change virtual memory, you have to have Administrative rights.

Yes. i do have a you have Administrative rights! But i still have the problem.
