Stuck on Intel Rapid Storage Technology User Interface and Driver

I downloaded a software update for my XPS 13 9365 and I’m stuck on Intel Rapid Storage Technology (Intel RST) User Interface and Driver for Intel 7th Gen and Later Platform. The program wont finish and I assume it disabled my keyboard, mouse, and touchscreen as I cannot interact with my laptop anymore, yet I can still see the loading circle spin. Is the only thing I can do is to wait/take the battery out?
