swapping processors
I have a dell xps410with a intel core 2 duo processor e6400 2m cache, 2.13 ghz, 1066mhz fsb,65watt dual core lga775hat went bad or over heated and i have a spare one that came from another xps410 with an
intel core 2duo processor e6700, 4m cache 2.66ghz, 1066mhz 65w dual core lga775 want to know if i can put this in my system
my system is a 64 bit os the spare processor came from a 32 bit os

Both processors are 64-bit capable, so it will be just fine to swap. Your OS won't care.
