Swapping RAM between computers
Well I recently purchased my own computer. A few months later my mum did the same thing! Only hers was better and I became very jealous and asked if we could swap and she said no :smileysurprised: so one day when she was out I took both computer to pieces and swapped the RAM around! I previously had a 2.66 GHZ processor and 512MB RAM and she had a 3.06GHZ processor and 1GB RAM! So I swictched some RAM about and now I have the 1GB and she has the 512MB! Will this do any harm to either computer?
If you can help me please email me on

Thank you!

Lambert91,
If each computer recognizes the correct amount of ram installed, you have done no harm to either computer. However, If we see no posts from you in the future, we'll know your mum found out what you did.
