SYMSTORE.dll

I do not know where to start with my problem. 

I received the following message after rebooting my computer:

cc Reg Vfy.exe - Unable to locate component

This application has failed to start because SYMSTORE.dll was not found.  Reinstalling the application may fix the problem.

I have no idea what this is talking about.  Other than that showing, I was having a problem with Norton Antivirus and Norton Internet Security, but that has been resolved.  But since the Norton problem arrived I have gotten this message.

If you can help resolve this, or tell me where to go to get it resolved, I would appreciate it.
