Synaptics Tap To Click

Question

I upgraded to Win Vista - downloaded the latest, I think, Synaptics driver and still have the Tap To Click option greyed out.  I have heavy fingers and cannot use the finger taps.  I am using a Dell Inspiron 9300. Thanks

When you went to supoprt.dell.com did you changed the OS to Vista 32 Bits??? By default the OS that appears there is for XP...

I had not changed my search for my Dell updates to Vista.  Thank you and I did receive several important updates but not the ONE I was hoping for.  So the Tap To CLick option is stilled greyed out and I am tip-fingering across my Track Pad.  Hopefully you or others have another idea or two.  Thanks for that one.
