System configuration Utility screen at bootup

I've recently made changes to the Start tab in the System Configuration Utility.  After rebooting, the message appears reminding me that I used the utility to make changes.  I've clicked the box in the lower left hand corner so the message won't appear again.

Except that every time I've booted since checking that box, the message insists on popping up.  I haven't made any other changes, yet the message keeps popping up.  Why, and how do I get the annoying thing to stop?  Thanks.

Thanks, I'll try it today.  I did, however, figure out that the culprit for all this was Lavasoft's AdAware settings.  I changed those settings, but ultimately unstalled it out of spite.  I've started using Spy Sweeper.

Again, thanks for your insight.

You`re very welcome, but you solved it yourself. :smileyhappy:

I like Spy Sweeper too.
