System Error....Please HELP!!!!!!
I have an Inspiron E1705... My son is not sure what happened, but when I try to boot up the computer I keep getting this XDLR error.
I've ran diagnostics on my computer and it does not show an error.
I then tried to do a system restore by pushing F8 during reboot and nothing happened except beeping any time I push another key.
I'm using a netbook to look online to see if there is something else that I can do.
Can someone please help me? It would be greatly appreciated.

I can't find any reference to "XDLR" error. Are you shure that is what it is saying? When do you get this when Windows starts, when you log on? or do you get this instead of Windows starting?
More info is needed.

Their is no file call XDLR. Is it NTLDR. IF, you can do nothing. Because NTLDR is a dynamic file. Read more here http://www.techyv.com/questions/ntldr-error-whats-meaning

%SystemRoot%\system32\xdlr.dll has been identified as a malware file on some systems. Did your son notice any other odd symptoms?
