System File Checker, How Do I Run it?
I can run SFC /scannow and it runs fine right up to almost the very end (about 97%) Then asks for my WIN XP Pro disk. The only XP Disk I have is the one that came with my Inspiron 1705 labeled "Operating System" I tried to use it to restore the needed System Files but it will not accept it and I'm forced to cancel. How can I run SFC? Are the files on the hidden partition? How do I direct SFC to them if they are hidden?
