System file not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications

Whenever i try to run a quiz from my floppy disk i get an error message:

 

16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem

C:\\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe

C;\\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

 

Close or Ignore are my only options. When i click ignore it still doesn't work. I don't know what to do.
