Finally got it to work,at the bottom of the dialog box, there four check marks two are grayed out (pnp & other? Can't remember) but the other two are active. One said something like:no security id require on next boot or something,I check this box & windows walked me thru to complete the installation (setting network, password,PC name, time zone, etc.)So the SYSTEM PREPARATION box does not pop up anymore.Thank all of you anyway.:smileyvery-happy::smileyvery-happy:Felix

Do you still remember, Besides the "no security id require on next boot" check box, which button did you push? (Factory, Audit, or Reseal)
