System Restore (Ctrl-F11) changes to include all updates

Can I do this? I'd like to image a fresh build with all updates to Windows and drivers and put it on my Inspiron 9400 so the next time I rebuild it's all there for me. How? I have Acronis. Possible?

I don't think you can change that restore partition.  Since you have Acronis True Image, backup the entire hard drive to an external USB connected hard drive    I maintain several backups using True Image to an external hard drive, I have one image of how the hard drive was after I removed the "junk" I didn't want on the new PC, and then I keep the current and previous full backups that I periodically (frequently) make of my hard drive.

Vista Business and Ultimate have a built in Complete PC backup software, it will image the hard drive and save it to another internal or external hard disk.

I know of no way to modify the Dell restore partition image, none documented yet that I can find.
