System Restore will not "Restore"
I recently used a "Cleaning software" to clean-up and organize files, but now have problems with certain softare applications. When I try to copy a slide show (from Easy Media Creator 7), I get an error message: (Error while examining drives: Result=80045203"). This happens on both the "D" and "E" drives. I checked the status of these drives in Device Manager and it states that they are operating properly. I also tried several (and I mean several) times to use "System Restore" using different restore dates and times.....but each time I get the message: "Incomplete Restore."
Can anyone help me? If so, please be VERY BASIC with instructions....I'm not a computer expert.
Thanks in advance.

Can you provide documentation on this issue?

I am actually not sure if uninstalling and reinstalling the Easy Media Creator 7 would fix the "Error while examining drives: Result=80045203". I was hoping to find that out from LCDRDAN, but he probably fixed his problem by using the information from your website. I also don't know what that particular error means. Sorry.
You have probably have seen these websites about the same error:

From the link provided by BertKK, try this:
1. Uninstall(not repair) EMC7 using Windows' Add/Remove Programs tool.
2. Go to tools.roxio.com/support/tools/roxizap.exe and download Roxizap.exe file. Double-click the Roxiozap.exe to remove the remaining EMC7 files.
3. Reinstall EMC7.
