Sometimes the restore database becomes corrupt.  There is nothing you can do to fix it and recover previous restore points, but you can disable system restore, reboot, then re-enable system restore to get it working from now on.

hi i was just reading this forum on system restore.  and you gave this person advise. now i have the same issue but i dont have a cd what can i do?
