SYSTEM RESTORE/WINDOWS 98
How do i do a system restore with windows 98 i had done it before where i restored it to a date when it was running good,do i go into the bios or dos mode any type in something,i forget any way i am running windows 98 any PLEASE help me out thanks.

Hi,
There is no system restore with Win 98 FE or SE, unless you have a program like GO-Back installed.
What you can do is a registry restore.
Start with a Windows 98 FE or Se correct version rqd floppy system disk. http://www.bootdisk.com if you don't have one. Run the downloaded file to create the system disk
Boot with the floppy disk. Change BIOS settings to ensure floppy disk is first boot item if necessary.
At the A:> prompt type exactly
scanreg /restore
Choose a date from the five offered. OK out and reboot when prompted
