System32 Window Problem

I've owned my computer for less than two months (so I haven't had much time to put much junk on the hard drive), yet already one error has continued to recur that I can't resolve with my limited computer knowledge.

Each time I log onto my Windows account upon start-up the "System32" window opens on my desktop. I have no idea why or where this glitch originated.

Any help is most appreciated.

If I remember correctly, this is Audigy2 software related, and opening the Creative "Getting Started" applet then checking "Don't show this again" will stop the problem. This topic has appeared numerous times in the Windows XP forum which went down over the weekend and is still down. IF this doesn't correct the System32 folder problem - which means I didn't remember the correct fix - look for the name Denny Denham in other boards and post/address the problem with him - he's the resident XP guru, bar none.

Thanks.  This solved my problem.  I wish I had known about this forum earlier, before I did several restores to correct the problem.
