Tablet PC Input Panel?

Hi, I'm fairly new to computers.  I just bought a Dell with the Vista program.  I don't have a clue what the Tablet PC Input Panel is for?  Can somebody please explain?   Thank You, HoneyBear

It is for Tablet PC's, which yours is not (most likely), just an added feature you cannot use unless you have a Tablet PC.   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tablet_PC

Hi there
I have an new Inspiron 1520 and I have the Tablet PC Input. I doubt it will be of much use to me as I don't intend on getting a digitiser for pen input but it is kinda cool to play with...for all of 5 minutes :-)
