Taskbar and start menu
Ok I just got the Dell Inspiron laptop and I have been trying to change the color of the taskbar and start menu. I have tried everything and it is still gray. The windows changed color but not the start menu or task bar. I have gone to contol panel- appearance and personalization- and then customiza colors. The window says you can change the color of the window taskbar and start menu but it still doesn't change color. Can anyone help me? please

If you are using vista right click on desktop >click personalize>click window color and appearance>click the drop down arrow on show color mixer.
Move the sliders to adjust the color to what you want and slide the color intensity bar to get it darker.
The darker you get the color task bar and start menu will start to change color.
