Technologically Challenged Gal Seeks Assistance with Internet Explorer

I know this should be simple, but when I used to log on to internet explorer there used to be a very simple white window / toolbox at the top of the screen where you could type in the url that you wanted to go to (E.g. Www.dell.com or www.yahoo.com or www.google.com).  Some how, however, it mysteriously disappeared.

Anyone know where I might find it?

Clueless, I know.

In IE, View menu, toolbars, click address bar so a check mark appears next to it.

And one more thing: (If the other solutions don't work)

Right-click the toolbar, and make sure it's not locked.

At the bottom edge of the toolbar (where the address bar WAS) left-click your mouse and hold it down, while dragging down the toolbar. If your address bar appears, right-click the tool bar and lock it.
