Temporary File need for initailaization could not be created help please. (Windows XP)

I just got a new computer game and when ever i go to install it i get a error message saying the following:

16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem

C:\PROGRA~1\BitComet\DOWNLO~1\RAG_SE~1.EXE
C:\DOCUME~1\Romeo\LOCALS~1\Temp\. A temporary File needed for initalization could not be created or could not be written to. Make sure that the directory path exists, and disk space is available. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

If anyone can help please reply.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section but I was told to come here and ask for help.

Bluz

This 'might' help:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;314452

Or this:

You could also clean your temp files and then try the install (presuming you have enough space on your drive). Get CCleaner here and check TIF and Temp files to remove them:

http://www.ccleaner.com/

At first only leave checked under IE the 'TIF' files and under system 'Temporary files' on the Windows tab.

I fixed the Reg key. But i still get the same error message. My brother just told me that Nortons anti virus found a PWsteal.trojan in both parts of the download and nortons deleted them. His friend said ''Dont worry there in all games''. Do you think that would cause a problem?
