Tm Proxy.exe has encountered a problem; please help

I have warnings that come on screen Tm Proxy.exe has encountered a problem, sorry for the inconvenience,needs to close, send dont send ,please tell microsoft about the problem.Also Internet explorer has encountered a problem same warning.Often they pop up every 60 seconds or so,also disables my ability to access the internet until the pop up comes on screen then, I can get on line. TheTm in the warning I am told is trend micro, which is the security system I purchased with the dell computer I tried spybot after I disabled the restore,I tried alot of  things that  I dont really undestand ,being a novice, please help ,thank you
