Touchpad Scrolling

I've recently installed RC1 on my D610.  Are there drivers out there that will enable me to use the right side of my touchpad to scroll as it did under XP?

Install the software for it that was used in XP. Works for me in RC1 and RC2

That did it.  The drivers straight from Dell's site did the trick.

Thanks for the quick response.

what exactly did you load. I tried the D610 drivers for Windows XP and Vista said there was a compatibility problem. So, I tried the Alps Touchpad driver for the D620 and it loaded just fine, but still no scrolling.

Is there anything that I have to do to activate it. It's working perfectly under Linux, just cannot get it to work under Vista.

I got the drivers from http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&releaseid=R113813&SystemID=LAT_PNT_PM_D610&os=WW1&osl=en&deviceid=2514&devlib=0&typecnt=1&vercnt=2&formatcnt=1&libid=17&fileid=149404

I'm no longer using the Vista RC, so I unfortunately don't have any details for you.

Yeah, that was the exact driver that I used. I'm using the Final RTM release of Vista and with that version of Vista I got the message that said those drivers were known to have compatibility problems with Windows and that I should contact Alps.

What happens if you ignore the warning?
