transferred programs from 98 to Win XP Pro

Question

I recently did a clean install of Win XP pro onto my computer.  During the installation it transferred programs into t Win XP Pro.   What is the best method to restore the programs so that they can be used?   I know zip about this new OS.   Thank you for your help.

If you did a clean install . . any programs and data that were on the 98 installation were wiped out.  You will have to reinstall the programs to get them to run on XP wrs
