Transferring data between PCs
Maybe this is not correct board, but any help appreciated. Getting a new Dell 2400 Desktop-have Dimension L500r model presently. Is there an easy way to transfer personal data from old to new? Will I have to reenter all data on new PC? Do I purge old system with System Resource CD that came with unit?

Resource CD would not help. But there are ways to transfer data.
First you can create a network between the two computers and simply copy and paste the data between them.
Or you can burn the data on the main computer and then paste it on your new computer.
Third is that you can use a null cable to establish communication between the 2 computers after which u can trf the data between them.
