Trouble activating programs

Hello,

 

I am fairly new to Vista and recently purchased WinDVD8 (Which is compatible to Vista by the way)  But I am not able to activate the product.  After three tries I am told that there is an internal error.  Does anyone else have these problem, if so, any soultions?
