However, pressing F12 at boot should not be so traumatic. You can't do any damage there.
Give it a try. Press F12 when you see the blue bar at the top of the screen (or when you see Press F2 ... Press F12). Then select diagnostics. They should run. Otherwise you can download and go from there.
The above Web Site, states it does not exist, when I do searches for it. And, I still have not tried the F12 at boot yet, because I remember the last time, I did, how I was so confused, so if you try the F12 at boot, please let me know, how it goes, and Thanks!
