unable to display website completely

I just bought a Dell Dimensions PC, preloaded with IE7 and VISTA.  Have been using IE6 and Windows XP, and havent had any problems.   But now when I visit a chat site that i normally go to daily, instead of seeing the conversation when I go into a particular room, I get a white screen.  When I view page source, I get the message that frames are required.  How can I resolve this?
