Unable to pull up critical update. Get error: msxml3.dll error '80072f76'

Question

I get this 'msxml3.dll error '80072f76' The requested header was not found /library/toolbar/3.0/js.asp, line 36: when I click on critical update. No matter what I do, it keeps coming up. Any suggestions? Also, when trying to pull up explorica.com on internet explorer 6.0 I get the following: Procedure 'trace_Insert' expects parameter '@BrowserType', which was not supplied. What is this?? I can pull this up on another computer but not this one? Any suggestions?

Check your firewall/proxy settings and also try disabling your firewall. This error is the result of your PC's inability to connect to a component of the Windows Update site. Disable all 3rd party applications (including anti-virus) before accessing the site.
While the Windows Update Web site is loading, you receive Initialization Error 0x80072F76
