Uninstalling pre-installed useless programs

As you'll see in my signature, I've provided the essentials of my laptop. When I first purchased my computer, it came with extras, as usual. Such as Google Desktop, Dell Games, Yahoo! Music Jukebox. Would it be safe to uninstall those programs without any risk to screwing up my computer?

Thanks so much.

Yes S.C

Uninstall what you don't need AND the Bloatware ... you will be happy you did.
You will probably notice a slight increase in performance, and you will shave a few seconds off of the boot-up and shut-down times as well.

Peace

Yep - if you don't want or use them, it's perfectly safe to uninstall them.

Alright. Yet, when I try to uninstall Google Desktop, I get this message: you are attempting to unistall Google Desktop that was installed by D97T4WC1/Administrator. Proceed with Removal? Should I click "Yes" or is it unsafe to do so?

Plus, In my Programs And Features, I have something called Earthlink Setup Files, but I don't have Earthlink. Is it safe to uninstall those too? I just don't want to screw up my computer, because it's fairly new.

Click on YES
And start getting  used to when you try to install/uninstall something, it's a new feature, that ask for every step a confirmation from you.

Yes, you can uninstall the Earthlink Setup Files since you don't use Earthlink.

You can now request from a dell sales rep that no junk be installed on your PC.
