I have the same error with installshield update manager. Remove the program from Startup folder in Start Menu and just forget about it. It worked well earlier without any problems, I checked it today and it started to show the error. It must be due to some program that I recently installed, but I don't really care. So just don;t worry about the program - until the patch is released, we just need to wait and not use it. If I press OK on this error, the window opens and I can still click the button to check for updates...
